Plan B
Nowadays most kids know the names of their favourite characters on TV, rather than to know what type of plants surround them.
I think it is helpful to learn more about medicinal plants through memory. But to a lot of healing/edible plants exists an poisonous doppelganger.
So the task in this memory is to find plants, similar in appearance, then to decide which one is poisonous and which one isn’t. Only if one is correct, they will gain a point and will keep the matching cards. Otherwise the cards will have to be put back again and the memory has to be shuffled again.
Additionally to the memory cards I would make informative sheet for every plant I am including in the game and add the special properties of the healing plant.
This game would be directed at children going to primary school since they will have an easier time to memorize the plants by heart then due to their accessibility to new information.
Goal is to make kids aware of their surroundings, be able to tell plants apart by name and know about their useful properties.
